Quagga and Zebra mussel prompt
Quagga and Zebra mussels have invaded the Great Lakes and affected the ecosystem. Using the video and the articles included on the blog, define and explain how these factors have changed:
Abiotic factor(s)
Biodiversity/ species richness
Flow of energy in the ecosystem
Trophic pyramid/food chain
Do a paragraph for each of the four factors. Describe what has changed, include real examples and evidence from the articles/video. Use the names of the organisms involved. Do not use opinions or unsubstantiated facts. Do not discuss the economic, changes to manmade objects.
